With its high effective area, efficient instrument modes, and sensitivity in hard X-rays, Suzaku is ideally suited to fully exploit these diagnostics. We request a total of 154 ksec in up to four observations to observe a black hole transient in outburst, using a scheme tailored to accommodate different source fluxes and Suzaku's observing windows. We will support these observations with a global multi-wavelength network of observatories. Understanding accretion onto black holes is central to NASA's ``SEU'' research theme.
