These lines can be used to set tight constrains on the accretion disk geometry and the radius of the neutron star. In two of these systems, the inner radius of the accretion disk as inferred from the line profile appears to be consistent with the radius inferred from the frequency of the kilohertz quasi-periodic oscillations (kHz QPOs). However, contemporaneous measurements in one of these systems appear to contradict this picture. We propose to observe 4U 1820-30 with Suzaku, simultaneously with RXTE. Our program will sample a wide range of inner disk radii and thereby explore the combined use of Fe K-alpha lines and kHz QPOs to probe strong gravity in X-ray binaries.
