For each search condition, there is a check box,

For example, in the left figure, search is made to satisfy the specified parameter ranges of the
"Position Search" AND "Parameters Ranges" AND
"Observation Date" AND "Pattern Match".
If there are two or more search conditions, only the ones explicitly chosen are effective.
For example, in the left figure, when you check the box marked with red (Parameter Ranges),
you may specify search parameters in the area marked with pink; only these parameters are
used for search (via SQL sentence).
If the check box of each condition is not checked, the conditional parameters specified
in the associated area are not used in the search.
