PWM (Plasma Wave Monitor) is a receiver for observation of plasma waves in a frequency range from 300 Hz to 22 MHz. The following data are open to the public for scientific use.
  • The Spectrogram of Plasma Waves
    Using PWM, electric field intensities of plasma waves at 800 frequency steps in a frequency range from 300 Hz to 22 MHz are obtained at an interval of 129.7 ms. The data files are provided in the CDF format.

NEI (Number density measurement of Electron by Impedance probe) is an instrument for determination of electron number density by measuring impedance of 1.2-m probe extended in the ionospheric plasma in a frequency range from 0.1 to 25 MHz before the frequency table change at X = 398 s (X: time from the launch) and from 0.1 to 13 MHz after the frequency table change, which are performed for lithium release by LES at X = 401 s. The following data are open to the public for scientific use.
  • The Spectrogram of Probe Capacitance
    Using NEI, capacitance of probe in the ionospheric plasma at 400 frequency steps in frequency ranges from 0.1 to 25 MHz (X < 398 s) and from 0.1 to 13 MHz (X > 398 s) are obtained at an interval of 259.4 ms. Two data files for X < 398 s and X > 398 s are provided in the CDF format.
  • The Electron Number Density
    The electron number density in the ascent and descent of the sounding rocket is derived from probe capacitance measured by NEI. Two data files in the ascent (X < 279 s) and in the descent (X > 279 s) are provided in the text format.
