Format of Geotail Magnetic Field, Electric Field, and Ion Moment Data
Announcement of an ASCII format change
The year description in all data in the ASCII format has been changed since Sep. 1, 2013. Now,
4 digit numbers are used to express "years." (e.g. 92 -> 1992)
We are very sorry for your inconvinience.

- The magnetic and electric fields are given in spacecraft coordinates, which are nearly equivalent to GSE coordinates: X is sunward, Y duskward, and Z northward.
- Rem is the deviation of the electric field from sine wave.
