Our understanding of jet production remains elusive, however, because we cannot image the accretion flow. Fortunately, the Fe K line offers a direct probe of accretion. As part of a multi-mission monitoring program of the radio loud AGN NGC 1052, we propose two 100 ksec Suzaku observations to obtain best-quality X-ray spectra at two epochs to determine the true continuum shape and thus probe the relativistic iron line, determine line and continuum variability patterns and possibly investigate how the structure of the accretion disk changes when there are jet ejection events.
