The excess can be accounted for with Compton-thick partial-covering gas probably part of a clumpy disk wind originating inside of the BLR. The observed Fe Ka line luminosity is consistent with an origin in an equatorial wind. Blurred reflection models cannot satisfactorily fit the source and so 1H0419-577 provides a rare distinction between two observationally-similar classes of model. We propose two 140 ks follow-up Suzaku observations separated by months to probe the properties of the Compton-thick gas via variability measurements: this is an important new science area that can only be studied using the broad bandpass available from Suzaku.
