This object has complex X-ray spectrum due to absorption by an intervening galaxy, and Suzaku will be essential in unraveling the effects and composition of that absorber, and for the first time, provide a robust measurement of the underlying blazar X-ray continuum, which, together with the Swift UVOT spectrum, will allow to verify the signature of the bulk-Compton component, due to cold electrons propagating in the relativistic jet. At the highest priority, we request 40 ks for a precise spectral measurement; at a lower priority, we wish to monitor the source for the total of 5 days, with the request of additional 160 ks.
