****************************************************** PR # 10 NGC3079 is a nearby one (D=16 Mpc) of the superwind galaxies in the sample ofHeckman, Armus and Miley(1990). This galaxy is viewd almost edge-on, and thesplit-line region is extended to as large as 1kpc along the minor axis. This object is a nearby starburst galaxy which has never been observed withGinga. ASCA observation of this galaxy as well as M82 and NGC253 is importantto know the spectral properties of starburst galaxies in the soft X-ray band. Its size in radio images is about 2arcmin, and if diffuse X-ray emission isassociated with the galaxy, the point spread function of the XRT can be checkedcomparing with the image of star-like source. ******************************************************
