****************************************************** PR # 11009 We propose to observe R Corona Austrina star forming cloud with ASCA satellite. Hard X-ray imaging will effectively pick-up the deeply embedded T Tauri stars and protostar candidates, which are surrounded by dense dust shells, as well. The true population of young stars embedded in the cloud will be derived. We can investigate the origin of hard X-rays,especially of its temperature by comparing temperature distribution of young stars in the cloud with that of another molecu- lar cloud. For example, Rho-Ophiuchus star forming cloud is suitable. Some essential quantities, the abundance of heavy elements in a surf- ace of T Tauri star and the extinction value of protostar shell,will be derived from spectrum fitting for moderately bright objects. ******************************************************
