    We propose to observe, for 20 ksec each, 5 of the X-ray brightest W-
    UMa type contact binary systems. The proposed targets are,in priority
    order,44i Boo, VW Cep, W UMa, XY Leo, and SW Lac. These systems are
    very active late-type binary star systems, exhibiting both high and
    low temperature emission components.
