    The X-ray spectra of the asynchronously rotating magnetic cataclysmic
    Variables, the Intermediate Polars, are highly complex.  Conflicting
    interpretations of the absorption, continuum emission and line
    emission components are allowed by current data.  We propose to
    observe 3 bright IPs for 60 Ksec each to get definitive spectra. We
    will use these to locate the absorption and emission regions in these
    systems, thus constraining the competing accretion models.
