****************************************************** PR # 11033 We have not discuss about detailed spectra of the X-ray binaries with low luminosity (below 10^36erg/sec) because the sensitivities of the detectors onboard past satellites were low. So, we propose to observe X-ray novae in quiescent state including a neutron star and a black hole,of which position and distance are well known. These observations become possible by ASCA,for the first time, which has a hundred times better sensitivity than past detectors with an energy band up to 10 keV. We can clarify the radiation mechanism of X-rays in such a low luminosity source which we have never seen and the outburst mechanism of novae. Moreover, we expect to discover the similarity or the difference of the physical phenomena depending on the compact star. ******************************************************
