****************************************************** PR # 11048 It has been confirmed that approximately 30 rotation-powered pulsars locate in the galactic globular clusters.Their progenitor is believed to be LMXBs. However, the number of LMXBs in the globular clusters are smaller than what is expected from the number of rotation-powered pulsars by more than an order of magnitude. Alternatively, we consider that the white dwarf binary probably makes significant contribution to the formation of the rotation-powered pulsars because the white dwarf is more popular in the galaxy than the neutron star, We therefore propose deep surveys of the galactic globular clusters in order to find new white dwarf binaries. ******************************************************
