****************************************************** PR # 11055 The association of neutron stars with supernova remnants is a corner- stone of stellar astrophysics. From this viewpoint,it is important to obtain a complete census of pulsar powered SNRs. Each new association has shed light on the formation of neutron stars, initial spin periods and magnetic field strengths. X-ray observations can be used to confirm models of plerion or pulsar powered synchrotron nebulae.ASCA with its contiguous observation of a given source is particularly well suited to pulsar searches. With the goal of pulsar detection and the study of plerion evolution in mind, we propose ASCA observations of three plerionic SNRs: G11.2-0.3,a plerion associated with SNe 386; G54.1+0.3, a distant filled center SNR and G322.5-0.1, a newly discovered combination remnant ******************************************************
