****************************************************** PR # 11172 Two-dimensional mapping with X-ray emission lines in the poor cluster of galaxies AWM7 is proposed. The purpose of observations is to under stand how, when, and how much heavy elements have been ejected from individual galaxies into the intergalactic space. The second brightest poor cluster AWM7 (after Centaurus Cluster) is best suited for such a study, because low temperature (kT = 3.8 keV) allows production of intense(EW > 700 eV)iron emission line and lines from other elements. The size of this cluster is 40 arcmin in diameter: ideal for ASCA to carry out thecomplete mapping within 2-day observations. ******************************************************
