****************************************************** PR # 113 Cen A is the nearest AGN to us. The radio map shows two huge jet-lobe structures. The X-ray map also shows jet-structures around a nucleus which isthe brightest AGN in the X-ray band. The spectrum consists of a highly absorbedpower-law component and a soft excess component. The ASCA observation of Cen Ashould be done to investigate the following items:1) Structure and spectrum of the diffuse component including jets around thenucleus. It will be very interesting to look for the the presence of the ironemission line in the spectrum and, in particular, its energy shift.2) Origin of the soft excess component. Its spatial and temporal behavior should be analyzed in relation to those of the power-law component. ******************************************************
