      We propose three x-ray bright, optically well-studied clusters with
    on-going mergers for detailed study with Asca.   With these observat-
    ions, we can map the total mass and heavy element distribution of the
    subclusters comprising each cluster and search for subcluster interac
    tions in the form of shocks which would occur as the subclusters
    merge.  The Asca observations, when combined with deep ROSAT PSPC
    images and extensive optical spectroscopy, will provide powerful
    tools for investigating the cluster structure and dynamics.
