   PR # 12121
      Spatially resolved ASCA SIS/GIS spectra of intracluster gas will be
    used to determine the radial distribution of metal abundances. Such
    observations will discriminate between wind and ram-pressure
    stripping hypotheses for releasing metals from galaxies.  Global
    values of the O/Fe ratio will also be measured, which may determine
    whether the oxygen and iron are primarily from supernovae of Type I
    or II.
