****************************************************** PR # 12137 We propose to observe the 9 day eclisping LMXRB X0921-630. The X-ray source in this system is hidden behind an accretion disk and we observe X-rays scattered by an accretion disk corona, ADC.This causes the eclipse to be partial and to last for one day. The 1 day eclipse duration of X0921-630 is the longest of the ADC sources and unlike the others is well matched to avoid interuptions due to the orbital period of ASCA. We propose to use the unprecendented spectral capabil ities of ASCA to map the X-ray line emission region from X0921-630. The spectrum we obtain with ASCA will be fit using a radiative transfer code that reproduces the photoionized conditions in the ADC. ******************************************************
