****************************************************** PR # 143 4U1626-67 is a low-mass binary X-ray pulsar with a period of 7.7s, which showed a stable spin-up of a rate of ~2x10^{-4} /yr.This source is known to show a highly energy-dependent X-ray pulse profile; i.e., highly phase-dependent X-ray spectra.Furthermore, Ginga discovered a QPO with a centroid frequency of 0.04Hz.The primary purpose of this observation is to study these interesting spectral properties with the energy resolution of ASCA, as well as to serve for calibration using the 7.7s pulsation. ******************************************************
