   PR # 21088
     NGC4631 and NGC4565 are two of the nearlest and brightest spiral    
    galaxies that are seen nearly in end-on configuration. Using these   
    objects, we attempt to search for extended thermal emission which may
    arise from galactic coronae. Such a corona may be generated, heated  
    and confined by galactic magnetic field via field  reconnection under
    strong differential rotation of the galaxy.
