****************************************************** PR # 21140 The proposed extended observation of MCG-6-30-15 offers the best opportunity with ASCA to measure relativistic effects around an accre ting black hole. The iron line is the main target here and we need to measure its shape. This requires that the continuum is well defined which is possible in this object since its warm absorber has little effect above 2~keV. We should obtain almost 1000 iron line counts in total with the SIS and so be able to clearly determine its strength, width and shape. We shall also obtain valuable measurements of the variability of the source, and of its warm absorber and so better define its properties. ******************************************************
