****************************************************** PR # 21144 We propose to secure accurate X-ray temperatures using ASCA for a luminous example of moderate redshift clusters which are the subject of an intense campaign with ground-based telescopes and the ROSAT High Resolution Imager. By examining the spatial distribution of star -forming galaxies in a well-studied intermediate redshift cluster (identified via spectroscopy) and X-ray image from ROSAT's HRI, we propose to identify substructures and compare ASCA temperature and iron line distribution to test the hypothesis that the hierarchical growth of structures over 0$
