****************************************************** PR # 21148 We propose to observe low temperature galaxy clusters, 2A0335+096 and S1101, to study the origin and evolution of intracluster medium (ICM). ASCA enables us to measure the distributions of silicon, sulphur, and iron of these clusters, which are crucial to study the ejection mechanism of the interstellar gas from galaxies. Relative abundance between iron and silicon group elements are also important to estimate the initial mass function of stars which contribute to heavy elements. Our observation will provide strong constraint to the gas ejection models. ******************************************************
