   Abell 496 has been observed by Einstein, EXOSAT, Ginga, ROSAT
   andBBXRT. These observations indicate that the cluster has a
   strongcooling flow which can be resolved spatially and spectrally
   withASCA. We shall be able to measure the properties of the
   coolingflow AND the rest of the cluster, thereby constraining the
   physicsof cooling flows.
