   G29.7 is a distant (20 kpc) young SNR with a luminous Crab-like core
   which issecond only to the Crab in X-ray luminosity. Calibration goals
   are to measure ahigh-column density power law source (of interest to
   low energy calibration ofCCD) and to refine deconvolution on the basis
   of spectral differences only(i.e., the shell and core emission will
   not be spatially resolved). Scientificgoals are to determine the
   parameters of the synchrotron nebula, to search forlines from the
   shell, and to search for pulsations from a central pulsar.
