     It is generally believed that rotation-powered pulsars in the  globul       
     ar clusters are the descendants of bright LMXBs. It is,  however, imp       
     ossible to explain the number of rotation-powered  pulsars in the glo       
     bular clusters by only 12 bright LMXBs so far  found. As an alternati       
     ve, we consider that the dim X-ray source  contributes significantly        
     to the formation of the rotation-powered  pulsar in the globular clus       
     ters. We propose to observe nearby  globular clusters in order to cou       
     nt up dim cluster sources as well  as to perform  spectroscopy to mak
