         With the PV, AO1 and AO2 phase, we have observed  selected region       
     s of the  Galactic Ridge.  We found that the Ridge emission is most l       
     ikely to be diffuse with lines at 1.86 and  6.7 keV, which are due to       
      helium-like Si and Fe.  The most surprising fact is the lines are ve       
     ry broad. This broadening is not found in the Galactic Center plasma.       
       In order to confirm this strange spectrum of the Galactic Ridge, an       
     d to compare the Galactic Center plasma, we propose to observed the
