      We propose to observe the Small Magellanic Cloud(SMC),which belongs        
     to the Local Group and lies close to our Galaxy. We want to detect th       
     e diffuse emission from hot gas in SMC with high energy resolution. B       
     y analyzing the spectrum, the precisely abundance and temperature wil       
     l be determined. Especially, the abundance of intersteller medium in        
     SMC has not been determined from X-ray spectrum analysis yet. The SMC       
      has a reasonable size  for this observation because it lies proper d
