****************************************************** PR # 31163 The extended X-ray/UV monitoring program of NGC5548 by Ginga and IUE clearly indicated that the blue bamp, which had been interpretated as the intrinsic thermal emission from an accretion disk, arised from t he reprocessed X-ray, and showed importance of the reprocessing proce ss in X-ray to UV region. We propose here a X-ray/UV/optical simultan eous monitoring program of the bright Sefert I galaxy, Fairall-9. ASC A has large advantage on X-ray spectroscopic research, and can accura telly determine the flux and line profile of iron K-fluorescence emis sion. The observation proposed would be expected to reveal much abou t the origine of blue bamp and iron K-emission to investivate the cor relation of UV/X-ray continuum and iron K-emission reprocessed. ******************************************************
