     We propose to observe with ASCA the Seyfert galaxy MCG +8-11-11 for         
     two periods of 30 ksec each within the OSSE pointing at the source  f       
     rom 1995 Aug. 22 to Sept.7. The main goals are: a) to measure the X-r       
     ay to soft gamma-ray continuum shape with simultaneous observations i       
     n order to determine the physical parameters of the emitting region;        
     b) to measure the equivalent width of the Fe line; c) to probe possib       
     le spectral variability simultaneously in the X-ray and soft gamma-ra       
     y bands. Since from EXOSAT data a pivoting point above 10 keV is indi       
     cated, one might expect opposite variability behaviours in the X-ray        
     and soft gamma-ray ranges. To confirm or disprove this possibility wo       
     uld be of great value for assessing the role of $e^{\pm}$ pairs in th       
    ermal Comptonization models.
