     Determination of geometric and temperature structure of coronae in          
     active stars is basic to our understanding of coronal activity.             
     Emission measure analyses often rely on assuming vertical                   
     stratification of spherical shells, but the Sun's corona is known tob       
     e non-uniform.  Eclipse modulation of diagnostics probe the 2-and-3Dc       
     oronal structure.  TY Pyx is an active binary which is bright enoughf       
     or ASCA to observe light-curves and spectra through eclipse to      d       
     etermine spatial and temperature distribution of emission, as well  a       
     s abundance diagnostics.  This will be valuable data in conjunction w
