     We propose to observe a sample of bright X-ray binaries in globular         
     clusters - X1746-371 (NGC 6441), X1850-086 (NGC 6712), and X0513-401        
     (NGC 1851) - with the goals of relating the abundances in the sources       
     with those of the surrounding clusters (two are in metal-rich               
     clusters, one metal-poor). X1746-371 is a dipping source with a             
     5.7-hr period; it is the only dipper known in a globular cluster, and       
     one of only two such sources to show apparently energy-independent          
     dips.  X1850-086 shows spectral similarities to the 685-s binary            
     X1820-303.  In each source we will study the continuum and burst            
     emission, and search for lines and edges; for X1850-083 and X0513-401       
     we will also search for low-level orbital modulations.
