****************************************************** PR # 32211 About 10\% of the low-z, radio-quiet quasars observed with the ROSAT PSPC have energy slopes steeper than 2. On the contrary, the 1-10 keV spectrum of most quasars (less than 20), observed by EXOSAT and Ginga have slopes flatter than 1. This proposal is to observe with ASCA two of the brightest steep PSPC quasars, to investigate whether such a spectral shape extends up to 10 keV, or if there is a break in the ASCA band. ******************************************************
