****************************************************** PR # 32235 ASCA spectra of 3 radio-loud high z quasars have given interesting results: (1) kT=39+/-4 keV, the X-ray background temperature; (2) No `Compton hump' is needed, suggesting a different nuclear structure f rom Seyferts; (3) the low-energy cut-off seen in ROSAT has a shape t hat requires an unexpected location or conditions. These results w ould be strongly affected by whether or not they apply also to high z radio-quiet quasars, none of which have ASCA spectra. We propose too bserve the two brightest known (in X-rays) quasars above z=2. ******************************************************
