****************************************************** PR # 32263 We propose ASCA observations to measure the electron gas temperature in the pair of galaxy clusters A222 and A223. These clusters are chosen to be well suited for observations of the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich ( S-Z) effect at millimeter wavelengths. In an ongoing, parallel e ffort we will measure the millimeter wave brightness toward this c luster using an instrument that we have developed for that purpose. T he combination of X-ray and millimeter wavelength data will allow ust o estimate the peculiar velocity of each cluster, which can be c ompared with the prediction of 1000 km/s from standard luminosity b ased estimates. Additionally, the measurements can be used to e stimate the Hubble constant. ******************************************************
