****************************************************** PR # 41022 With the ASCA AO2 observation, we found that the proto-satr candidate R1 in the Rcr B Cloud exhibited hard X-ray emission and flare activities. The X-ray spectrum of R1 is very unusual with an emission-line-pair at 6.2 keV and 6.8 keV. R1 has been known to have radio Jet. However its velocity may not be larger than 100 km/sec, hence impossible to produce the 6.2 and 6.9 keV lines by the doppler shift. To confrim this peculiar phenomenon and to see possible change of the "doppler shifted" energy, we propose to observe R1 again. Also we propose an observation of IRAS162923-22, which shows almost identical apearence to R1 in the radio band. ******************************************************
