****************************************************** PR # 41130 We propose to observe the BL Lac object Mkn501. This object is the second TeV gamma ray emitter recently detected by Whipple Telescope after Mkn421. Our multiband observations of Mkn421 in AO2 and AO4 have shown the simultaneous xray and TeV flare. It is hard to explain both X and GeV/TeV emission by the standard model(SSC). In order to understand the emission from ``TeV'' blazar, xray observation is crucial. Because of the high time variability, we propose to coordinated multiband observation from radio to EGRET(GeV) and Whipple telescope(TeV). ******************************************************
