****************************************************** PR # 41155 EGRET has found almost 30 Gamma-ray sources near the galactic plane (gb <+-10 deg). Among them five sources are identified as pulsars, such as Geminga. However, most of them have not been identified with any known sources. A few hundred MeV to GeV emission from galactic source is particulary interesting. Pulsar could be one possibility and galactic objects with jets directed toward the solar system could be another possibility. Because of the high galactic absorption, hard X-ray observation with ASCA is crucial to reveal the nature of the source. We propose to observe the brightest, thus with the smallest error circle, unidentified EGRET source, near Cygnus Complex. ******************************************************
