   PR # 41180
   3C48 is one of the radio-loud quasar . Especially in radio frequency,
   its shows us uncommon feature as a quasar. Its large abundance of
   molecular gas ,which is detected as a CO line emission, indicates
   that the object had experienced starburst and after that evolvded
   into quasar. The formation of quasar is unclear regarding to its
   origine ,but this object may give us a key to understand the
   relationships between AGN and starburst. To attain this , we propose
   to get X-ray spectra using ASCA. X-ray spectra will reveal the AGN
   activity in starburst.
