   We propose to observe HE 1104-1805, a high redshift (z=2.3)
   radio-quiet quasar which is gravitationally lensed. The two lensed
   images are within 3 arcsec of each other and have been detected as an
   extremely bright source in the ROSAT PSPC. HE 1104-1805 provides a
   unique opportunity to observe a relatively low luminosity,
   radio-quiet quasar at high redshift, in contrast to all other z>2
   quasars previously studied with ASCA, which are radio-loud.
