   We propose to observe, for 40ks each, 3 X-ray bright W UMa A-type
   binary systems. Our goal is to obtain high-quality spectra for
   modelling of the coronal structures. The proposed observations will
   extend the contact-binary sample (of 5 W-type systems and 1 A-type
   system) obtained by the present investigators in ASCA AOs 1-3,
   providing essential coverage at earlier spectral types and longer
   binary/rotation periods.
