   We propose separate 40ks ASCA observations of the radio galaxy 3C111
   and the (radio-quiet) Seyfert 1 galaxy 0241+622. These objects are
   amongst the brightest AGN in the X-ray sky but have not been
   intensively studied by recent X-ray missions. They are of comparable
   brightness and luminosity, differing mainly in their radio
   properties. The proposed observations will be capable of determining
   the profile and strength of the fluorescence iron emission line which
   is believed to originate from the
