   PR # 43024
   H0414+009 is an X-ray bright BL Lacertae object physically associated
   with a surrounding cluster of galaxies. The object has a bent
   one-sided radio tail extending approximately 40 arcseconds from the
   core. The presence of the cluster and the structure of the radio tail
   strongly suggest that the BL Lac is probably embedded in a hot
   intra-cluster medium. We propose to observe this object with ASCA for
   a duration of 60 kseconds. The scientific aims of this proposal are
