   We are studying a complete flux-limited sample of hard point-like
   sources from the ROSAT all-sky survey. The sample is already 90\%
   spectroscopically complete and comprises about 60 new AGN, mainly
   local Seyfert galaxies. There is a surprisingly large number of
   interacting systems and narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies with strong
   FE-II emission. VV697 is the most striking example with four galaxies
   in violent interaction. With a 50 ksec ASCA observation we can study
   the spectrum and time variabi
