****************************************************** PR # 50 Observation of Jupiter involves detection of auroral X-rays.The target has a visual size of approx. 40 arcsec, as well as theIo Plasma Torus at a separation of 6-7 arcmin. Jupiter has beenobserved with the Einstein HRI and IPC. Observation goals includedetermination of nature of X-ray emission (non-thermal or line),determination of enhancement effects by volcanic activity on IO,an attempt at spatially resolving two sources at the polar region, and examination of any other spatial features around Jupiter. ******************************************************
