************************************************************************* 51108 We propose to observe dwarf spheroidal galaxies, Carina, Leo I to detect the hot X-ray gas in the possible dark halo. Recent observations as well as optical observations of these galaxies strongly suggest that dwarf spheroidals have experienced several star bursts in the past. It is likely that the gas is still kept in the dark halo and will eventually fall down to a galaxy causing yet another star burst. We therefore try to detect the hot gas in the halo. Chemical abundance study of the hot gas will provide a direct comparison to optical spectrospocy of individual stars, and the hard X-ray sources will tell us the fraction of SNIa progenitors in these galaxies. *************************************************************************
