   We propose ASCA observations of the west lobe of Fornax A. The source
   is the radio galaxy exhibiting widly exteded lobes. We observed the
   radio lobes in AO-1 to discover inverse-Compton X-rays. It was the
   first case of detecting IC-X-rays from radio lobes, followed by IC X-
   ray detections from some other radio galaxies including Centaurus B. We
   propose to observe the West Lobe of this archetype object with a
   sufficient exposure, aiming at a spatially resolved study on the
   magnetic fields and electron energy density in the lobe.
