************************************************************************* 51153 The unified scheme of AGNs explains the difference of Seyfert Type-1 and -2 arises from the difference of a viewing angle, and is now widely accepted. One of a test of this scheme is to verify the existence of Type-2 QSOs, which is naturally predicted by this model. We propose to observe two highly polarized QSOs IRAS 110548-1131 and OI 287. Both of them show strong optical polarization and broad lines in its polarized spectra, which suggests that the nucleus is heavily obscured by dust and only scattered light is visible. Since ASCA has a high sensitivity in hard X-ray band, the existence of Type-2 QSOs is expected to be directly verified for those QSOs. The existence of Type-2 QSO is not just a test of the unified scheme, but also a possible candidate for cosmic X-ray background. *************************************************************************
